Here comes the end of another month. I don't know where the time goes as there don't seem to be enough hours in the day. But not strictly true as we all have the same number 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We can choose to do with our time what we wish, although allocating time to sleep and those who need to like me, work to pay the bills and keep a roof over our heads.
A big issue today is many struggle to get to church on a Sunday never mind squeeze in the time for Bible study and at the bottom of the list, Prayer meeting. I wonder how God would want us to use our time. How many of us ask him daily? or do we know what he would say but don't want to hear it or maybe we're too busy to ask the question or listen for the answer?
I'm as guilty as any of us as I'm always busy, I need to spend more time relaxing and even having days where I just spend it with Jesus. To refresh and fill me up so I can give out again. When we don't do these things, we end up running empty.
Why don't you try and create a habit of asking God each morning how He wants you to spend your day? It will only take a moment, although we need to listen for the answer, which may become clearer throughout the day. I pray as you dare to do this you have many God encounters throughout your day and opportunities to share Jesus, either by the choices you make during the day or an open conversation with someone.
